Peach Party! - Grilled Peaches & White Chocolate Mousse

Chef Myla wanted to think of a summer Sip and Bake where your oven isn’t blasting but your flavors are! Her peach party Sip & Bake will embrace local seasonal flavors, learning to brown butter and sear juicy August peaches! Paired with vanilla bean white chocolate mousse and candied pistachio crunch. Chef Myla will walk the class through the importance of cocoa butter in a classic rich chocolate mousse as well as candying seasonal nuts and the phases of sugar caramelization. We will also feature a juice to pair with your sparkling wine or possibly bring your own peach flavored wine from one of our local wineries. We have the glasses, openers and ice bucket for you - just bring your wine! Students will enjoy a generous antipasto platter while preparing their peach creation and the grilled peaches with white chocolate mousse.You will also take a portion home to share! Bring a friend or two or come and make new ones!

Here are Chef Myla’s Fall Sip n Bake themes! Each class includes a generous charcuterie tray to graze while working and our wine glasses, openers and ice bucket for you to use when you bring your own wine!

Pumpkin Pie 101 - Flaky Crust with a toasted Pumpkin Pie Filling

Sept 26th 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Chef Myla will share her tips for the flakiest pie crust and for her toasted pumpkin pie filling for this classic Thanksgiving dessert recipe your family will love you for making! Each student will bring home a completed pie!

Halloween Magic - Themed individual cake decorated to the nines!

Oct 24th 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Chef Myla will guide the students in stacking icing and decorating their own 6” cake in a professional way to feel comfortable to make your own fall layered and decorated cake at home. The cake you prepare in class will go home to share with your family or friends.

Maple Delight - Maple Pecan Cheesecakes

Nov 7th, 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Chef Myla will prepare a homemade graham cracker crust with the class with a luscious cheesecake filling, caramelized pecans and a maple sauce to complete this decadent Fall dessert. And of course, your mini version will go home with you!

Fridays w/ Chef Lou

Friday’s with Chef Lou!

September 19th  -  FLATBREAD!  $69.00

Chef Lou’s most fun class!  Jump in and make their own flatbread dough from scratch and prepare your  own creative design with our gourmet toppings! Learn Chef Lou's tips and secrets for making this popular appetizer for your next family or friends evening! ALSO, learn to make HOMEMADE RICOTTA as one of your toppings and really WOW your guests!  This dinner will include a plate of charcuterie upon arriva, a gourmet salad with your flatbreads and our popular tiramisu parfait for a sweet ending.    This is the most hands-on class we offer with all students making their own dough and creating their own flatbreads. 

October 17th - CHICKEN MILANESE  $75.00

This popular dish in either veal or chicken is a favorite at many  Italian restaurants.  Chef Lou will teach you how to make it even better than those restaurants!  Perfectly cooked chicken cutlets with an arugula salad topping and a balsamic vinegar glaze will dazzle your date, friends or family!  He will pair it will a delicious linguine and the simple but perfect  garlic and oil sauce along with chopped fresh tomatoes and basil.  Begin your evening with a charcuterie plate and end it with our version of a tiramisu parfait!   This is a semi hands-on class with each student breading and frying their own cutlets. 

 

November 14th - PORK WELLINGTON  $80

Chef Lou will take you through the steps to prepare a perfectly stuffed pork roast, encrusted with puff pastry and browned to perfection.  He will also introduce you to the queen of sweet potatoes and how to roast them.  For dessert, you will make a bloomin’ apple and enjoy with ice cream and caramel sauce!  Your dinner will also include a side vegetable and appetizer when you arrive.  This class is a semi hands-on class with students learning to work with  puff pastry and prepping their own bloomin’ apples.   

 

December 19th - SEAFOOD STEW   $85 

Our popular “7 fishes” class is always a must for our December class.  This year we will repeat one of our most popular – a Seafood Stew that Chef Lou  teaches how to cook mussels, clams, shrimp, cod, Dungeness crab, and scallops.  Make a delicious vinaigrette using anchovies for your winter salad, end with a lemon sorbet and your 7 Fishes is dinner is complete!  This is mainly a demo class with Chef Lou showing in great detail all the steps to prepping the seafood for this stew.  It is a time to relax, but learn all his tips for making this spectacular holiday dish.  And of course, enjoy the dinner with a group of foodies all there to have camaraderie in Chef Lou’s Kitchen!
